ABOUT US
The Philippine Glaucoma Society is a national, non-profit association of glaucoma sub-specialists from all over the nation. Our directory is designed to locate a glaucoma specialist in your area. Educational materials on glaucoma are also featured for the lay person as well as basic and clinical information for the practicing ophthalmologist. Our networking with other societies within the Asia Pacific region promotes collaboration in research, education and training to ensure high quality care for the Asian glaucoma patient. The society conducts annual meetings in conjunction with the Philippine Academy of Ophthalmology Annual Convention late in the end of the year.

Mission:
We are an internationally recognised group of glaucoma specialists committed to delivering the highest level of glaucoma care in the Philippines through the service we provide to our patients; education of our members, fellow ophthalmologists, health practitioners and patients; involvement in research; and promotion of public awareness of glaucoma.
Vision
No Filipino will become blind from glaucoma.
Objectives:
- Provide avenues for continuing education and exchange of ideas in glaucoma
- Conduct research and encourage scientific publication
- Promote public awareness through information and educational campaigns
- Uphold professional and ethical standards among glaucoma specialists
- Formulate guidelines for glaucoma training programs in the Philippines
- Promote local and international recognition of the Society and its members
- Provide avenues for continuing education and exchange of ideas in glaucoma
- Establish linkages with relevant scientific and non-scientific organizations locally and internationally
- Foster camaraderie among members of the Society
